School-Bus
What can school kids do to help keep the air we breath clean?
Walking school bus!!

Every month of October, the first week is dedicated to the "International Walk to School Week". This week is dedicated to help kids and adults alike think about using alternative methods of getting to school instead of the petrol driven school bus.
A "Walking School Bus" group is a great way to get children and their parents walking to school, saving on petrol, and getting some exercise and fresh air!
Every little bit of effort we can put in to keeping the air clean, reducing pollution and the impact of driving to and from our schools makes a difference. More importantly, it helps to instill an environmental awareness in our children.
Be present and active in your community! Get involved in making decisions about smaller neighborhood schools, work to develop a "School Travel Plan" like encouraging carpooling and other means of energy efficient transport.
